The road my business journey has taken is winding enough that even someone with a stomach of steel may get motion sickness. From licensed optician all the way to marketing for an engineering company, selling wedding invitations, designing merch and websites for bands, editing technical manuals, and creating content for the healthcare industry, I feel I have done a little bit of everything.

I had an epiphany today while driving. I realized that many times, when it comes to being truly, deeply connected to my dreams, I treat them more like I’m single than if I were in a committed relationship with them.

The answer isn’t to always go hard 24/7. The answer is to be the tortoise, not the hare.

As an entrepreneur, your job is to create magical things on this earth, and then share them with the people who would benefit from them. And by “share them with,” I mean “sell them to.”

Sales is one of those tricky subjects that some people love and other people tend to hide from.
